Good Sportsmanship and Enjoyment are the key objectives.

Winning or losing doesn’t matter - it’s how you play the game.

Equipment Equipment All batters will wear a batting helmet (cage/mask recommended) with strap done up while at bat and on base.
Defensive pitchers (helpers) to wear protective equipment (helmet with cage or face guard).
Uniform All players and coaches should wear the shirt and hat provided by the league. Running shoes or rubber cleat baseball shoes must be worn. No sandals, crocs or slip on shoes.
Jewellery No bracelets, watches, necklaces or earings (other then studs) to be worn.
Bats Bat must be marked as Tball ASA, USSA, NSA Bats only. Players must use a bat appropriate for their age and size.
Umpires Umpires No Umpires required Home Plate Umpire provided. If absent home team to supply. 1-2 Umpires provided by league. If none are available home team will supply the plate umpire and visitor will supply the base umpire.
Coaches Coaches Offensive and defensive coaches are permitted on the playing field. Offensive and defensive coaches are not permitted on the playing field.
Players Number of Players Minimum of 7 players to play. Minimum of 7 players to play. Players can be borrowed from the opposing team to allow for equal play. Players can be called up from a younger division but cannot exceede the opposing teams number of players . All players must be registered ommba players.
Maximum of 10 players on field.  Maximum of 10 players on field. The 4 outfielders must be positioned in the outfield a min of 10 feet from the base lines. Peewee's may play 3 fielders + 1 rover
There are no automatic outs.
If a player arrives late, they may be added to the bottom of the line up. Communicate with the opposing team.
Substitutes Only in the event of an injured runner
Positions No player is to sit more than 1 inning. Coaches will ensure that every player sits out one inning before any player sits out two innings in a game.
A player should not play the same position in consecutive innings. A player cannot play the same position more than three (3) innings per game.
Each player must play an infield and outfield position in a game unless safety is an issue.
Coaches are encouraged to play all players in each position as equally as possible over the course of the season.
The Game Regulation Game Start time is promptly at 6:30pm and is 3 innings. Start time is promptly at 6:30pm. A new inning will not start  1 hour 10 minutes after the start time. Start time is promptly at 6:30pm. A new inning will not start 1 hour 30 minutes after the start time. Start time is promptly at 6:30pm/8pm. No new inning will start  1 hour 30 minutes after the start time. In the case of a double header no new innings are to begin after 7:45pm. Maximum 7 innings per game
  In case of weather or cancellation of a game by an official and when two innings have been completed, the score of the game will revert to the last fully completed inning.
Run Limit   Maximum of 5 runs per half inning until the open inning.
Sportsmanship Players are to be taught the rules and etiquette of softball and are to shake hands at the end of the game.
Pitching Pitching Ball is bat from the T. Must be hit a minimum of 10 feet. The player can only take one base when the ball is hit unless they are the last batter.  Coach Pitch - 5 pitches. If they haven't hit after 5 pitches the batter is out. Last pitch must be clearly called by the Umpire before the 5th pitch is thrown. If the 5th pitch is fouled the batter continues until they miss or hit the ball into fair play. Player pitch - normal count. After 3 strikes, batter out.

The Pitcher must start their delivery motion from the pitching rubber and may take no more than one stride towards home plate before delivering the ball.
Pitching Limitations   A pitcher is not allowed to pitch consecutive innings. A pitcher may pitch up to 2 consecutive innings
Hit Battters   If the same pitcher hits two (2) batters in an inning, he/she must be removed for the remainder of that inning.
Walks   Walks are allowed. There are no intentional walks
Batters Number of Batters All players bat. Before the last batter hits "last batter" should be called. All players on bases proceed to home plate. All Players Bat until 3 outs are obtained. All eligible players will appear on the batting order.
Bunting Bunting is not permitted
Third Strike Rule   Third Strike Rule is not in effect The batter becomes a runner when the third strike called by an umpire is not caught, providing (1) first base is unoccupied or (2) first base is occupied with two outs
Infield Fly Rule   Infield Fly Rule is not in effect
Saferty Bag   The saftey bag is to be used only if there is a single and a play could be made at first base.
Stealing   Runner cannot steal bases; she/he can only run when the batter makes contact (No Stealing). Base runners may steal on any legally pitched ball once it has
crossed home plate.
  A player can only advance one base on a steal attempt.
  Player can not advance to home on a steal, passed ball, or wild pitch – must be batted in or forced home by a walk or is part of a continuation of a play (i.e. overthrow).
Lead Offs   Runners may leave the base when the ball has crossed the plate. If they leave early, they will be warned once and then called out.
Sliding Sliding is allowed
Base Runner Advancement   Following a fairly hit ball, the advancing of runners is considered ‘over’ when the ball is returned to the pitcher. 
Overthrows   Runners advance 1 base only on an overthrow and can still be called out.
Contact Runners are instructed to avoid making contact. A player who runs into another player will be returned to the bench for the rest of the inning. This rule works both offensively and defensively
Protests There are no protests or appeals
Scoring Scores & Standings Score and standings will not be kept as the emphasis is on player and team skill development not on winning. Score is to be kept via the scorekeepers book.
